When I moved to San Antonio 12 years ago, I came dragging my feet with rebellious pink streaks striping my blonde hair. We moved for theĀ 9th and final time on our journey around the world with the US Air Force. My parents, originally from Texas, were happy when my dad’s final assignment landed him at Lackland Air Force Base. I got to spend the rest of my blissful high school years putting down roots in San Antonio, finally getting to be friends with people for more than just a year. So happy with my new life in the Alamo City, I decided the pink hair rebellion was over, though I’ll always be my dad’s little “pink headed bug”. The relationships I built here lasted, and after going away for college on the East Coast, I found myself craving Tex-Mex and the faces I loved, and decided it was time to head home. So passionate about the city I love, I took a job as a realtor so I can help people find homes that make them love living here just as much as I do. This is my personal blog about the awesome city of San Antonio.
